3rd Day: Hula Competition Award Ceremonony [ Kupuna Division ]

Tonight, we welcomed the kupuna to the stage, a special competition for the seasoned dancer over 45 years of age. Graceful, gracious and glowing, these beautiful ladies from O'ahu, Hawaii's Big Island (Moku O Keawe) and Japan took the stage with mastery and poetry, offering heartfelt expressions of cherished Hawaiian music. Their dedication to the arts of hula proves that it is a lifelong pursuit and passion, and every dancer on the stage was a winner tonight.
